Chapel Hill, N.C. — Wilson Prep made history by capturing its first North Carolina high school 1A football state championship, edging Robbinsville 9–8 in a hard-fought defensive battle.
The Tigers sealed the victory in dramatic fashion when Ethan Nelson connected on a late game-winning field goal in the final seconds.
